Rakuten is a rewards based shopping platform—merchants pay a commission for sending shoppers their way and Rakuten shares that commission with its members. During my 4+ years there, I designed across the entire purchase funnel, including post-purchase, for the end user’s touchpoints as well as the internal team’s merchandizing tools.
